Note that under both of our proposed Codes, the 'opposite margin' relief option (Rules of Golf 26-1c(ii)) is NOT available.

Yep, not worth the trouble. I check out the opposite margin every time in a LWH and have used it two or three times in thousands of games.
But it shouldn't have been an option at Colorado with the current RoG if that hazard was marked appropriately. I prefer Code Two's homogenization of WHs.
